This is a petition for grant of anticipatory bail for offence under Sections 498, 506 and 366/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

According to first information report, Sangeeta Kumari, the married daughter of the informant, aged about 25 years, fled away with co-accused, Ranbir Thakur, who is son of petitioner, Rajendra Thakur, and brother of petitioner, Rajbir Thakur. Ranbir Thakur is suspected to have enticed her to go with him. Allegation against the petitioners is that they were also having collusion with Ranbir Thakur.

Submission of the petitioners is that the matter is of love affairs and since the petitioners are family members of Ranbir Thakur, they have been falsely implicated in this case.

Considering the nature of allegation, let the petitioners, above named, in the event of their arrest or surrender, within four weeks from the date of receipt of this order, be released on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/- (rupees ten thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each in connection with Shastri Nagar P.S. Case No. 290 of 2016 to the satisfaction of Smt. Aditi Gupta, Judicial Magistrate, 1st Class, Patna, or successor Court, subject to the condition laid down under Section 438(2) of the Criminal Procedure Code. (Birendra Kumar, J) SA/- U √ T √
