The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Jokihat P.S. Case No.316 of 2014 registered for the offence under Sections 302/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

The accusation is that the daughter of the informant, namely, Mussarat was married with accused Rahib(son of the petitioner) ten years back and from their wedlock, the informant's daughter blessed with two children. On 21.09.2014 the informant received information that his daughter was killed by her husband and her in-laws. Having received the said informant, the informant and his co-villagers went to the Sasural of his daughter and found dead body of his daughter lying

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.67439 of 2019(2) dt.27-11-2019 2/2 having several injuries on her body and ligature mark around her neck. The informant raised suspicion that his daughter was killed by her husband and her in-laws.

Submission is that the petitioner is father-in-law of the deceased and he is aged about 62 years old. Further submission is that the petitioner has falsely been implicated in this case and he is in custody since 18.08.2018. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that after investigation, the police has already submitted chargesheet against the petitioner and others. Having considered the facts and circumstances of the case, let the petitioner, above named, be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/-(ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Sri Kumud Ranjan, learned Judicial Magistrate 1st Class, Araria in connection with Jokihat P.S.
