JUSTICE MOHIT KUMAR SHAH ORAL ORDER 06-09-2018 After some argument, learned counsel for the petitioners seeks permission to withdraw the present writ petition with liberty to file an appeal against the order dated 01.08.2017 passed by the Collector, Kishanganj in Confiscation Case No. 24 of 2017 in view of Section 6C of the Essential Commodities Act, 1955. Accordingly, the present writ petition is disposed off as withdrawn with liberty to the petitioner to file an appeal before the appellate authority and in case an appeal is filed within three weeks from today, the appellate authority shall consider the case of the petitioner on merits and pass a reasoned order in accordance with law.
