The matter has been listed under the heading "For Orders" under the orders of Hon'ble the Chief Justice. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned APP for the State.

The petitioner is apprehending his arrest in a case registered under Sections 147, 148, 149, 341, 323, 325, 307, 354B, 386, 504, 506 of the Indian Penal Code.

Allegedly, all the accused persons having armed with deadly weapons entered the house of the informant and demanded ransom amount. It is also alleged that on non-fulfillment of ransom amount, the accused persons assaulted him. It is also assaulted that the wife of the informant was misbehaved by the accused persons. It has been submitted on behalf of the petitioner that there is no allegation of tampering of witnesses alleged against the petitioner.

No specific overt act is alleged against the petitioner. The other coaccused with similar allegation have been granted anticipatory bail by this court by order dated 12-06-2020 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 56156 of 2019.

On behalf of the State, it is submitted that the petitioner is named in the Complaint Case/F.I.R.

Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case, the petitioner, above named, in the event of arrest or surrender before the learned court below within a period of eight weeks from today, be released on anticipatory bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Banka in connection with Rajoun P.S. Case No. 169 of 2019 subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure. (Sudhir Singh, J) A.K.V.//- U T
