2. At the very outset, Mr. Ritesh Kumar, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the University informs that in paragraph no.5 of the counter affidavit filed on behalf of the

Patna High Court CWJC No.20415 of 2021(5) dt.24-03-2025 2/2 respondents no.4 to 7, it has been stated that the University, vide Letter No.A/C-97/24 dated 25.09.2024 issued under the signature of the Registrar, BNMU, addressed to the Director, Higher Education Department, Government of Bihar, Patna, requested for providing requisite fund for making payment to the petitioner on account of arrears of salary for the period from 27.07.1998 to 31.12.2015 to the tune of Rs.38,64,426/-. The same has also been sent through mail on 27.09.2024 on the registered mail of Higher Education Department, Government of Bihar, Patna. Similar information is contained in Paragraphs No.12 and 13 of the counter affidavit filed on behalf of respondents no.2 and 3 that the State has already taken action.

3. In view of the above admitted position, the respondents must forthwith take steps to release the fund, as calculated by the University for payment of the admitted dues to the petitioner without any further delay.

4. With the above observation/direction, the present writ petition stands disposed of.
