Petitioner has prayed for the following relief/s: "That this is an application i(in the nature of Public Interest Litigation) for issuance of an appropriate writ / order / direction / directions for holding CBI / Vigilance Enquiry into large scale bungling / irregularities in the affairs of the Mokama Nagar Parishad (Municipal Council) in connivance with officials of the District Administration in implementation of various social welfare projects / schemes run by the Government of India / Bihar Government and further to command the Respondents to implement the schemes in a transparent manner as the funds are lying in Bank accounts and due to non-release of the same the projects are left mid-way."

We find that the present petition so filed is in the nature of public interest litigation.

From the response so filed, it is evident that the respondents have now taken appropriate action. As such, without adjudicating the petition on merit, we dispose of the same, reserving liberty to the petitioner to approach the authorities for redressal of surviving grievances, if
