Petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with U.T. No. 215 of 2021 arising out of Chapra Town PS Case No. 368/2021 registered for the offence punishable under Sections 147, 148, 149, 341, 323, 447, 337, 307, 504 of the IPC and 27 of the Arms Act.
Three accused persons along with some unknown miscreants arrived at the shop of the informant and started pelting stones, bricks etc. It has further been alleged that someone from the accused persons made open firing due to which one passerby namely, Ravi Kumar sustained fire-arm injury.

No.69495 of 2021(2) dt.23-05-2022 2/3 Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has falsely been implicated in this case as counter blast to a case lodged by the petitioner bearing Chapra Town PS Case No. 367/2021 against the son of the informant and others in which the petitioner had also sustained injury. According to the petitioner, the son of the informant and others assaulted the petitioner during which someone opened firing causing injury to the passerby, Ravi Kumar and the statement of Ravi Kumar was recorded in course of investigation wherein he has disclosed the names of Tuntun Singh, Manoj Singh, Prince Kumar and Shekhar Singh. Referring to the supplementary affidavit, learned counsel submits that the injured, Ravi Kumar has also lodged a complaint bearing Complaint Case No.
2461/2021 in which the aforesaid four persons were made accused. Next submission is that the petitioner is in custody since 11.07.2021 and the chargesheet has already been submitted.

Accordingly, let the petitioner, LADDU RAI be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 20,000/- (Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Smt.
