The petitioner is in custody in connection with Sadar P.S. Case No.186 of 2014 (G.R.No.2313 of 2014) for the offences punishable under Sections 498(A) and 494 of the Indian Penal Code and 3⁄4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act.

The allegation against the petitioner is of causing physical and mental harassment on the informant for demand of dowry. The petitioner is in custody since 6.5.2015.

Having heard learned counsel for the parties and considering the allegation as well as the period of custody, let the

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.50363 of 2015 (2) dt.10-11-2015 2/2 petitioner namely, Shashi Kant Paswan be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Muzaffarpur in connection with Sadar P.S. Case No. 186 of 2014 (G.R.No.2313 of 2014).
