In this case, the petitioner is seeking a direction upon the respondents to remove the encroachment from a public land.

The petitioner is permitted to file a representation before the Circle Officer, Husainganj, DistrictSiwan for redressal of his grievances. If such a representation is filed, the Circle Officer shall examine the same and if any encroachment is found then an encroachment proceeding under the Bihar Public Land Encroachment Act, 1956 shall be initiated by him and the said encroachment case shall be disposed of after hearing all the affected parties including the petitioner. The

Patna High Court CWJC No.13161 of 2023(2) dt.04-01-2024 2/2 aforesaid exercise must be completed by the Circle Officer within four months from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order.
