Patna High Court CWJC No.19180 of 2018(2) dt.27-09-2018 2/2 on behalf of the petitioners, has submitted with reference to letters dated 03.08.2015, 18.06.2016 and 22.06.2016 that despite the fact that the University in question is satisfied that the college deserves to be granted affiliation, the affiliation has not been given effect to in the absence of any decision by the State Government under Section 21(2)(d) of the Bihar State Universities Act, 1976 (hereinafter referred to as 'the Act'). Considering the nature of the relief which has been sought, this application is disposed of at this stage itself with a direction to the respondent no. 2 to ensure that a decision is taken on the question of grant of approval of affiliation, if not already taken, within a period of one month from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order.
