JUSTICE VINOD KUMAR SINHA ORAL ORDER 30-08-2019 This is an application for grant of anticipatory bail in connection with Kanti P. S. Case No. 421 of 2019, disclosing offence under Section 3⁄4 of Dowry Prohibition Act. Prosecution case is that the marriage of the informant was fixed with one Pawan Kumar S/o Surendra Sah. They have spent Rs. 3,00,000/- and also given several articles from the ring ceremony, but thereafter, they have demanded Rs.10 lakhs and due to that they have not bring the Barat.
Submission of the learned counsel for the petitioners is that they are sister and brother-in-law and they have nothing to do with the negotiation of the marriage. They have falsely

Having heard both sides, considering the above submission, this application is allowed. Let the petitioners, above named, in the event of their arrest or surrender before the court below within six weeks, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.25,000/- (Rupees Twenty Five Thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount to the satisfaction of learned S.D.J.M., West Muzaffarpur, in connection with Kanti P. S. Case No. 421 of 2019, subject to the condition laid down under Section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure with condition that they have to co-operate with the investigation.
