The matter has been listed under the heading 'For Orders' under the orders of Hon'ble the Chief Justice. Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and learned A.P.P. for the State.
The petitioners seek bail in a case registered for the offences under Sections 302 and 120(B)/34 of the IPC. The prosecution case, in short, is that on 16.02.2017, due to animosity, petitioners killed the father of the informant who was the father-in-law of petitioner no. 1. Earlier the petitioners also killed the sister of the informant for which a
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.60612 of 2019(3) dt.03-06-2020 2/2 case was instituted in Nawadah District.
It has been submitted on behalf of the parties that the case is at the concluding stage.
In the said circumstances, the present application of regular bail, in connection with Sessions Trial No. 182 of 2018, arising out of Gandhi Maidan P.S. Case No. 104 of 2017, pending in the court of learned Additional District & Sessions Judge-XIX, Patna, stands rejected.
Learned court below is directed to take all necessary steps to conclude the trial at the earliest.
