The petitioners apprehend their arrest in connection with Akilpur P.S. Case No.22 of 2022, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 30(a) and 32(1) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act.

The police after getting information that illegal Bhaththi for manufacturing of illicit liquor is being run, raided the place but the petitioners and other co-accused persons fled away from the place of occurrence.

Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the petitioners are innocent and have falsely been implicated in the present case. It is submitted that the petitioners have got no

It is further submitted that no incriminating article has been recovered from conscious possession of the petitioners. The police has recovered 100 litres of country made liquor, pipe etc. from the place of occurrence.

Learned APP for the State opposed the prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioners and submitted that the petitioners are members of the syndicate involved in manufacturing of illicit liquor.

Taking into consideration the facts aforesaid, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioners on anticipatory bail. Accordingly, the prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioners is rejected.
