Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the State. The present writ petition has been filed for quashing the first information report in connection with Muffasil (Motihari) P.S. Case No. 510 of 2021, dated 18.09.2021, registered under Sections 302, 201 and 34 of the Indian Penal Code.

After going through the contents of the first information report which the petitioner wants to quash, it transpires that the petitioner is the named accused though his

Patna High Court CR. WJC No.1336 of 2021(2) dt.07-04-2023 2/2 name has come in this case by virtue of suspicion which required investigation, therefore, this Court is not inclined to grant the relief.

This application is dismissed.
