JUSTICE MOHIT KUMAR SHAH ORAL ORDER 11-10-2018 After some arguments, the learned senior counsel appearing for the petitioner seeks to withdraw the present writ petition with liberty to approach the Collector, Muzaffarpur for release of the seized pick-up van by filing a petition under section 6-E of the Essential Commodities Act, 1955.

In view of the aforesaid submission made by the learned senior counsel for the petitioner, the present writ petition is disposed of as withdrawn with liberty to the petitioner to file a petition for release of the vehicle before the Collector, Muzaffarpur and in case such a petition is filed within a period of four weeks from today, the Collector, Muzaffarpur shall pass an order in accordance with law within a period of four weeks

Patna High Court CWJC No.19484 of 2018 (2) dt.11-10-2018 2 /2 thereafter.

It is needless to state that in the meantime, the vehicle shall not be sold.
