In this case, the petitioner is seeking anticipatory bail in connection with Mehandiganj P.S. Case No.55 of 2017, registered for the offence punishable under Sections 452/323/307/504/506/34 of the Indian Penal Code. Allegation has been made against the petitioner to have entered into the house of the informant and caused injury on the head of the informant by iron rod.
Learned counsel for the petitioner has placed reliance on discharge slip.
Looking to the nature of allegation, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, the prayer
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.40654 of 2017 (2) dt.19-09-2017 2/2 for bail is rejected. If the petitioner surrenders before the Court below within three weeks from today and prays for bail, the Court below will pass the order in accordance with law on the same day without being influenced by the order of this Court.
