The petitioner seeks bail in Araria P.S. Case No. 687/2016, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 384, 386, 420 and other sections of the Indian Penal Code. The informant alleged that while he was driving the truck bearing registration no. UP12T9471, a white colour car came in front of the truck and driver of the car demanded extortion of Rs. 5,000/- and snatched Rs. 1,000/- from the pocket of the informant.
It is submitted that petitioner is the owner of the car and he himself was driving the vehicle. The driver of the truck was driving vehicle rashly and that is why some verbal altercation took place.
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.54490 of 2016 (2) dt.12-01-2017 Considering the facts aforesaid and nature of allegation made against the petitioner, the petitioner above-named, is directed to be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Chief Judicial Magistrate, Araria in connection with Araria P.S.
