The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Patliputara P.S. Case No. 144 of 2019, registered under Sections 382, 399, 402, 401 and 400 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 25(1-b)a/26/35 of the Arms Act.
The accusation is that in course of patrolling duty, Santosh Kumar, Chhotu Kumar and Vicky Kumar @ Bara Kaliya were apprehended by the Police, who disclosed the name of Rohit Kumar and Manish Kumar, who succeeded to flee away. On search, one country made pistol recovered from the possession of Santosh Kumar and Sabal was recovered from the possession of Vicky Kumar (Petitioner). Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that

Having regard to the facts and the circumstances of the case, the petitioner, above named, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/-(Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Addl.
