The application is for grant of bail in connection with Begusarai Muffasil PS case 320 of 2016 or the offence under Sections 302, 201/34 of the Indian Penal Code. It is submitted on behalf of petitioner that petitioner is not named in the FIR, he himself appeared before police and confessed his guilt and there is no eye-witness to the occurrence. It is further submitted that petitioner is in custody since 09.08.2016.
Heard learned A.P.P. also.
Having heard both sides. In above facts and circumstances of the case, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. As such, his prayer for bail rejected. However, learned
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.53969 of 2016 (3) dt.13-01-2017 2/2 lower court is directed to expedite the trial and conclude the same within 09 months.
With these observations, this bail application is dismissed.
