Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned A.P.P. for the State along with learned counsel appearing on behalf of the OP No. 2.

The petitioner apprehends his arrest in a case registered for the offences punishable under Section 498A of the Indian Penal Code and Section 4 of Dowry Prohibition Act. 3.

Learned counsels for the parties jointly submit that the case was referred for mediation and mediation succeeded. It is further submitted jointly that the dispute has been resolved by way of one time settlement 4.

The learned counsel appearing on behalf of the OP No. 2 submits that OP No. 2 has received the entire amount of

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.57519 of 2022(5) dt.25-04-2024 2/2 one time settlement. It is next submitted that since the dispute stands resolved and the OP No. 2 has received the entire consideration as such the OP No. 2 will also withdraw the instant criminal case. It is further submitted that he also has instruction not to oppose the anticipatory bail application of the petitioner.

Considering the submissions made by the learned counsel for the OP No. 2, the petitioner above-named, in the event of his arrest or surrender before the learned trial court within a period of six weeks from today, be released on anticipatory bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 2,000/- (Rupees Two Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned trial court where the case is pending/successor court in connection with Complaint Case No. 8094(C) of 2021 subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438 (2) of the Cr.P.C.
