2. The petitioner has preferred this application for grant of regular bail in connection with Triveniganj P.S. Case No. 120 of 2025 dated 05.03.2025 registered for the offences punishable under Section 108 of the B.N.S.

3. As per the prosecution case, the petitioner is alleged to have committed murder of the informant's son by hanging. It is further alleged that the room, in which the dead body of the informant's son was kept, was locked from inside and his daughter-in-law (petitioner) was also present inside.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner is innocent and has falsely been implicated in

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.56912 of 2025(2) dt.20-08-2025 2/3 this case. The name of the petitioner has sprung up in this case on mere suspicion. The charge-sheet has been submitted against the petitioner. The petitioner has no concern with the alleged offence. The petitioner has no criminal antecedent as stated in para 3 of the bail petition. The petitioner, who is a lady, is in custody since 06.03.2025.

5. Learned A.P.P. for the State has opposed the bail petition of the petitioner and submitted that the petitioner is the wife of the deceased who killed her husband. As per para-20 of the case diary, the witness, Pramod Kumar who is the brotherin-law of the deceased and in para-37, the witness Manoj Kumar who is the brother of the deceased have stated that the petitioner was already married and was in love with a muslim boy and the petitioner used to say that she would kill Kumud Kumar and then go away. As per para-38 and 39, the witnesses have stated that the deceased hanged himself in front of his wife due to harassment from her. As per para-2 of the inquest report, para-5 of the suicide note and para-47 of the post-mortem report also support the incident.

6. Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case as well as the specific and heinous nature of offence against the petitioner, this court is not inclined to grant bail to

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.56912 of 2025(2) dt.20-08-2025 3/3 the petitioner and the same is rejected in connection with Triveniganj P.S. Case No. 120 of 2025, pending in the Court of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Supaul.
