Petitioner apprehends arrest in connection with Karpi P.S. Case No. 97 of 2017 registered under Section 307 and other allied sections of the Indian Penal Code. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that there is no motive of killing. Petitioner has filed a complaint case against the father of the informant and others and the present case has been filed to put pressure to withdraw the complaint. Injuries sustained have been found to be simple in nature.

Learned Addl. P.P. appearing for the State opposes the prayer for bail and submits that there is direct allegation

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.36744 of 2017 (3) dt.19-08-2017 against this petitioner of inflicting pasuli blow on the head of the informant.

Considering the nature of allegations levelled against his petitioners and the submissions advanced on behalf of the parties, I do not feel inclined to grant the privilege of anticipatory bail to the petitioner. His prayer for anticipatory bail is, therefore, rejected.
