This is an application for bail in connection with Sono P.S.case No. 170 of 2014 registered for the offences punishable under Section 392 of the Indian Penal Code.

It has been submitted on behalf of the petitioner that the petitioner is in jail for about six months and there is nothing against him, no T.I. Parade has been held and there is no recovery and the petitioner has been made accused on the basis of confessional statement and so far other cases are concerned, the petitioner is on bail.

Heard learned APP.

Learned APP has submitted that in one case the petitioner escaped from the jail.

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.454 of 2017 (2) dt.02-02-2017 2/2 Having heard both sides and considering the aforesaid fact, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. Prayer for bail is rejected at this stage.

However, learned court below is directed to expedite the trial.

The petitioner may renew his prayer for bail after examination of the informant.
