Prayer is for grant of anticipatory bail in Sahebganj P.S. Case No. 167 of 2017 registered under sections 307 and 379 IPC.
While the informant was sitting in his vehicle, it is alleged, the accused persons, all drunk, dragged him out and started assaulting. The cash amount was also forcibly taken. Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the allegation is general and omnibus. There is no serious injury received by the informant.
Counsel for the State opposed the prayer and submitted that the manner in which the incident had occurred is serious.
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.2672 of 2018(2) dt.15-01-2018 2/2 Referring to the impugned order, it is also submitted that the informant received serious injury.
Considering the nature of the allegation and other materials reflecting from the record, prayer for anticipatory bail is rejected.
