The petitioner is accused in connection with Muffasil P.S. Case No. 226 of 2016, registered under Sections 385 and 387 of the Indian Penal Code.

The allegation of informant Asha Raj is that her husband used to run a school in the name of British English School. On 22.05.2016 at about 6.00 A.M., when she reached at the school then she found one poster of "Lal Salam" on which a ransom of Rs. 20,00,000/- was demanded by the culprits. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner is not named in the F.I.R. In course of investigation, Vishnupad P.S. Case No. 67 of 2016, under Section 307 of I.P.C.

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.253 of 2017 (2) dt.13-01-2017 2/2 and 27 of Arms Act was instituted in which Police got recorded the confessional statement of the petitioner showing his involvement in the present case regarding pasting of poster and demand of ransom. Further submission is that while petitioner is accused in two other cases, but he is on bail in both cases. The petitioner is in custody since 10.08.2016.

Having regard to the facts and the circumstances of the case, the petitioner, above named, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/-(Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Chief Judicial Magistrate, Gaya in connection with Muffasil P.S. Case No. 226 of 2016. Out of two sureties, one surety must be the parents/close relative of the petitioner, who will file an affidavit showing his relation with the petitioner.
