JUSTICE VINOD KUMAR SINHA ORAL ORDER 03-09-2019 This is an application for grant of anticipatory bail in connection with Mahua P.S. Case No. 284 of 2016, disclosing offences under Sections 147, 148, 149, 341, 323, 307, 504, 379 of the Indian Penal Code.

Allegation against the petitioner is of assault by butt portion of the pistol to the informant, causing injury. Submission of the learned counsel for the petitioner is that allegation against the petitioner and one Jhagru Rai is similar and Jhagru Rai has been granted privilege of anticipatory bail by a Co-ordinate Bench of this Court vide order dated 31.08.2017 passed in Criminal Misc. No. 40027 of 2017.

Having heard both sides, considering the above

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.55686 of 2019(2) dt.03-09-2019 2/2 submission, this application is allowed. Let the petitioner, above named, in the event of his arrest or surrender before the court below within six weeks, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.25,000/- (Rupees Twenty Five Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Vaishali, in connection with Mahua P.S.
