JUSTICE SAMARENDRA PRATAP SINGH ORAL ORDER 06-07-2017 The petitioner, who is husband of the victim, apprehends his arrest in a case under sections 498A and 494 of the IPC.

Petitioner has denied the allegation of demand of dowry and committing torture thereof. Mediation report dated 19.5.2017 shows that the efforts to resolve the differences have failed. Opposite party no.2 has filed maintenance case. In the facts of the case, prayer for bail of the petitioner is refused with direction to surrender and seek regular bail, which would be disposed of preferably on the same day without prejudice also taking into consideration that opposite party no.2 has filed maintenance case.
