The petitioner is in custody in connection with Arwal P.S. Case No. 161 of 2014 for offence punishable under Section 387 of the Indian Penal Code.
A ransom call being received by the informant has led to the institution of the F.I.R. and the name of the petitioner has transpired on the basis of the confessional statement of one of the accused Birendra Paswan.
It is stated by learned counsel for the petitioner that except for the confessional statement there is nothing else on record connecting the petitioner with the alleged offence and that the mobile number from which ransom was call was made belongs to one Ram Sao as taken note of by this Court while granting bail
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.50622 of 2015 (2) dt.10-11-2015 to the said Birendra Paswan vide order placed at Annexure-2. Having heard learned counsel for the parties and considering the submission of learned counsel for the petitioner, let the petitioner Ganesh Sao be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Chief Judicial Magistrate, Arwal in connection with Arwal P.S.
