The petitioner apprehends his arrest in a case registered for the offence under Section 30(a) of Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act.

On a secret information that two vehicles, one of Bolero Model and another of Wagon-R Model are transporting illicit liquor, a raid was conducted and both vehicles were intercepted. Total 233.280 liters of foreign liquor has been recovered from both vehicles.

It is submitted on behalf of petitioner that petitioner is neither owner nor driver of any of the said vehicles and he has nothing to do with the alleged vehicles. Petitioner has got clean antecedent.

No.69570 of 2021(2) dt.01-07-2022 2/2 Considering the fact that nothing has been recovered from the conscious possession of petitioner and petitioner has got clean antecedent, let the above named petitioner, in the event of his arrest or surrender within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt / production of copy of this order, be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail-bond of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Special Judge, Excise, Muzaffarpur in connection with Karja P.S. Case No. 85 of 2021, subject to conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Cr.P.C.
