The petitioner has renewed his prayer for grant of regular bail in a case registered under section 392 of the Indian Penal Code.

As per the prosecution case, about four accused persons on the point of pistol assaulted the informant and took away Rs. 2 lacs besides other articles as stated in the FIR. It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that the earlier prayer for bail of the petitioner was rejected vide order dated 21.3.2022 (Annexure-1) passed in Cr. Misc. no. 46553 of 2021 giving liberty to the petitioner to renew his prayer for bail after framing of charge. Referring to the order dated 1.9.2022 contained in Annexure-4, it is submitted that charge has been framed against the petitioner and three others.

Having heard learned counsel for the parties and taking into consideration the nature of allegation, liberty granted to the petitioner by the aforesaid order of rejection dated 21.3.2022, charge having been framed in the case together with the petitioner having remained in custody since 19.12.2020, the petitioner is directed to be enlarged on bail in connection with Sessions Case no. 939 of 2022 (arising out of Mokama P.S. Case no. 8 of 2020) on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Additional Sessions Judge-I, Barh, Patna.
