The petitioner is in custody since 09.04.2019 In connection with Rohtas Complaint Case No. 232 of 2016 for the offence registered under Sections 420, 465, 467, 468 and 471 of the Indian Penal Code.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that if at all there is a dispute, there is no criminal liability attached to it and the complainant can avail the remedy under a court of appropriate jurisdiction by filing a civil case. It is further submitted that the petitioner is willing to execute the sale deed on payment of the rest amount.
