The petitioner is in custody in connection with Angarh P.S. Case No. 05 of 2019 for the offences under Section 392 of the Indian Penal Code.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has no criminal antecedent and he is in custody since 07.06.2019. He further submits that petitioner was not named in the F.I.R. and his name surfaced on the confessional statement of co-accused Niyamutullah, yet he has not been put on TIP.
