=========================================================== CORAM: HONOURABLE MR. JUSTICE V.N. SINHA and HONOURABLE MR. JUSTICE AHSANUDDIN AMANULLAH ORAL JUDGMENT (Per: HONOURABLE MR. JUSTICE V.N. SINHA) Date: 09-03-2015 For the settlement of the matrimonial dispute including the criminal case lodged by Mrs. Karuna against the appellant-husband, he has paid Rs. 8,00,000/- by way of Demand Draft No. 205464 dated 07.03.2015 drawn in favour of the wife Mrs. Karuna as also a sum of Rs. 8,000/- payable through another Demand Draft in favour of Mrs. Karuna bearing no. 947790 dated 14.02.2015. Besides the aforesaid payment the interim payment made to the wife and deposited in the Court of the Principal Judge, Family Court, Patna but not withdrawn by the wife so far shall also be withdrawn by her and the bank concerned shall revalidate the demand draft in favour of the wife. The Principal Judge, Family Court, Patna should ensure that the Demand Draft kept in the custody of the Court is handed over to the wife and in case there is any difficulty in the bank getting the

Patna High Court MA No.768 of 2011 dt.09-03-2015 2/2 same revalidated in favour of the wife then the Court concerned shall do the needful.

2. In the light of the payment of the aforesaid amount with the consent of the parties, the marriage of Dr. Sidhdharth- appellant with Mrs. Karuna is dissolved and in the light of the dissolution of the marriage between the parties, Mrs. Karuna has agreed not to oppose acquittal of Dr. Sidhdharth in criminal revision no. 649 of 2011 pending in High Court.

3. Learned counsel for the respondent is requested to grant receipt in lieu of having received the two demand drafts on the margin of the order sheet.

4. The application stands disposed off in the aforementioned terms.
