The petitioner's application for grant of arms licence has been rejected by the District Magistrate, Patna vide Annexure-2 dated 2.08.2013, thereafter, he preferred Arms Appeal No. 322/2014 before the Divisional Commissioner, Patna.

It is contended that the appeal filed by he petitioner is still pending before the Divisional Commissioner, Patna. Accordingly, I dispose of the writ application directing the Divisional Commissioner, Patna to take a final decision in the matter in accordance with law within a period of one month from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order, if the same has already not been done.
