2. The petitioner is apprehending his arrest in a case registered for the offence punishable under Section 498(A) of the Indian Penal Code and Section 3/4 of the D.P. Act.

3. Vide order dated 11.09.2024, notices were issued to the opposite party no. 2 which were validly served and a jointness affidavit was also filed on behalf of the petitioner.

4. The allegation in the FIR relates to a general and omnibus allegation of demand of dowry and torture.

5. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the allegations levelled in the FIR are totally false and as a

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.61639 of 2024(6) dt.17-04-2025 2/2 matter of fact, no such demand had been made by the petitioner and he has rather made a categoric statement in para-10 of this application that he is ready to keep his wife along with children with full dignity and honour.

6. Taking into the facts and circumstances of the case, let the above named petitioner in the event of his arrest or surrender before the learned Court below within a period of four weeks from today, be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned court below where the case is pending/successor court in connection with Belhar P.S. Case No. 296 of 2023, subject to the condition as laid down under Section 438 (2) of the Cr.P.C. (Soni Shrivastava, J) devendra/- U T
