Learned counsel for the petitioner contends that on flimsy grounds, his license under the Public Distribution System has been cancelled by the licensing authority, which order has been challenged before the Appellate Authority on 28th of September, 2018. But the aforesaid appeal has neither been numbered nor heard.

This Court, taking the submissions urged on behalf of the petitioner to be correct and undisputed, directs the Appellate Authority to decide the appeal within a period of sixty days to be counted from the date of production/receipt of a copy of this order by a reasoned order.

With the aforesaid observation/direction, the writ petition stands disposed off.
