Petitioner being husband of opposite party no. 2 is languishing in jail custody since 24.06.2019 in a complaint case in which cognizance has been taken for the offences punishable under Sections 498(A) of the Indian Penal Code and 4 of Dowry Prohibition Act.

Although petitioner is said to have put the opposite party no. 2 in torture due to non fulfilment of illegal demand but considering the period of detention of the petitioner in jail custody, order dated 02.09.2019, by which the petitioner was
