2. This writ application has been filed for the following relief/s:- "i. For a direction upon the respondent-University to consider the claim of the petitioners for their promotion to the next higher post in class-III as they are working on the same post since their appointment as Lab-Boy on 05.03.1982 in Ram Ratan Singh

Patna High Court CWJC No.13169 of 2023(2) dt.11-12-2024 2/2 College, Mokama (hereinafter referred to as 'College'), a constituent unit of Patliputra University, Patna. ii. For a declaration that the petitioners are entitled for promotion to the next higher post in class-III as they have been working on the same post since their appointment without any promotion.

iii. For granting of consequential benefits and any other relief/reliefs to which the petitioners are found entitled too."

In view of the nature of grievance raised by the petitioners, this writ application is disposed of with liberty to the petitioners to file fresh representation before the Registrar, Patliputra University, Patna (Respondent No. 5) along with all the necessary documents and details in support of their claim within a period of four weeks from today.

4. In the event the petitioners file their representation within the stipulated period, the Registrar, Patliputra University, Patna (Respondent No. 5) shall dispose of the same, in accordance with law, after hearing the parties, by a reasoned and speaking order, preferably within a period of three months from the date of filing of the representation.
