JUSTICE PRABHAT KUMAR SINGH ORAL ORDER 23-01-2020 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the State. The petitioner seeks bail in Sahpur P.S. Case No. 279 of 2016 corresponding to Sessions Trial No. 11 of 2018, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 147, 148, 149, 341, 324, 325, 307 and 120(B) of the Indian Penal Code and section 27 of the Arms Act.

Earlier, vide order dated 21.11.2019, report was called for from the court below regarding the stage of trial and the same has been received vide letter no. 290 dated 12.12.2019. From perusal of the report, it appears that out of nine chargesheet witnesses, six witnesses have already been examined, only government witnesses are to be examined and summons have already been issued to procure the attendance of the rest witnesses. Three months are required to conclude the trial.

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.57774 of 2019(5) dt.23-01-2020 2/2 Considering the facts aforesaid, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner above-named on bail. Accordingly, the same is rejected.
