The petitioner is accused in connection with K. Hat (Madhubani) P.S. Case No. 357 of 2016, registered under Section 304B and 120B of the Indian Penal Code. The accusation is of killing of the daughter of informant by her husband and other in-laws due to nonfulfillment of demand of dowry. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner is cousin (Mousera) brother of the husband of the deceased and he is not named in the F.I.R. Subsequently, after one week, in course of investigation, the informant disclosed the name of this petitioner with false allegation of torturing her
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.144 of 2017 (2) dt.11-01-2017 2/2 daughter for non-fulfillment of demand of dowry by this petitioner. Further submission is that only to give undue pressure, the informant, who is father of the deceased disclosed the name of this petitioner who is in remote relation of the husband of the deceased. The petitioner having no criminal antecedent and is in custody since 15.09.2016. Having regard to the facts and the circumstances of the case, the petitioner, above named, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/-(Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Chief Judicial Magistrate, Purnea in connection with K.Hat (Madhubani) P.S.
