The grievance of the petitioner in the present writ petition is discrimination in the matter of grant of promotion and consequential benefits.

Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner would submit that juniors to the petitioner have been granted the benefit of promotion and its consequential benefits but the petitioner has been left out.

Considering the aforesaid, the writ petition is disposed

Patna High Court CWJC No.17213 of 2019(2) dt.23-08-2019 2/2 of with a direction to the District Programme Officer (Establishment) , Vaishali to examine the claim of the petitioner and if it is found that any person junior to the petitioner has been granted promotion and consequential benefits, the same benefit may also be extended to the petitioner from the date junior to the petitioner has been granted such benefit. Necessary decision in this regard must be taken by the respondents within a maximum period of 60 days from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order .

With the aforesaid, the writ petition stands disposed of.
