2. The petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Forest Case No. 17-F of 2020 registered for offences under Sections 33, 41, 42 of the Indian Forest Act and under Sections 2, 27, 29, 31 and 51 of the Wild Life (Protection) Act.

3. Petitioner is accused of committing theft of woods from the forest. Petitioner has one criminal antecedent of similar nature.

4. Considering the nature and gravity of offence, this court is of the considered opinion that petitioner does not deserve the privilege of anticipatory bail in the present case.

5. The application for anticipatory bail is, accordingly,

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.62960 of 2024(3) dt.12-02-2025 2/2 dismissed.

6. The petitioner must surrender in the court below within a period of four weeks from today and seek regular bail, if so advised.

7. If such a petition is filed in the court below for grant of bail, then the same may be considered on its own merit without being prejudiced by this order.
