1. The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following relief(s):- "1(i) For issuance of an appropriate writ in the nature of certiorari or any other writ in similar nature, for quashing the letter in part contained in letter no. 230 dated 24-1-2023 issued by Respondent no. 4 in as much as Respondent No. 6 has been selected as NGO agency in Mahnar of Vaishali district to carry out works under Mid day

Patna High Court CWJC No.13499 of 2023(3) dt.16-07-2024 2/2 meal scheme on the ground that same runs in contravention of departmental decision itself as also same is not beneficial for local children for whose benefit decision have been taken.

(ii) For issuance of an appropriate writ in the nature of Mandamus or any other writ in similar nature, commanding and directing the Respondent Authorities to not allow any NGO to work under Mid- day Meal scheme and allow the previous mechanism for effective implementation of Mid day meal scheme as far as schools under Mahnar block of Vaishali district is concerned."

2. At the outset, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks not to press the present writ petition, however, seeks liberty on behalf of the petitioner to approach the respondents for redressal of her aforesaid grievances. Liberty so sought is granted.

3. The writ petition stands disposed off.
