2. Petitioner apprehends arrest in a case registered for the offence punishable under section 126 ( 2 ), 127 ( 2 ), 115 ( 2 ), 308 ( 2 ), 303 ( 2 ), 352, 351 ( 2 ) and 3 (5) of BNS. 3 . As per the prosecution case , informant namely , Vikash Kumar alleged that on 02.10.2024 at about 10:30 PM in night, this petitioner along with 4 to 5 unknown persons demanded extortion from informant. Upon refusal, accused persons snatched mobile phone and cash of Rs. 50,000/- from informant and also threatened him with dire consequences. Petitioner has got 6 criminal antecedents.
