The petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Supaul P.S. Case No.325 of 2024, registered for the offence punishable under Sections 457, 380 of the Indian Penal Code. 3.

As per the FIR, a theft of jewelleries of Rs.11 Lakhs was committed from the house of the informant.

It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that petitioner is quite innocent and has committed no offence. He has been falsely implicated in this case. No such occurrence, in the manner as alleged, has ever taken place. It is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that petitioner is not named in the FIR, during the course of investigation one person was apprehended by the police and he disclosed the name of the petitioner. The apprehended person disclosed that he sold the

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.64556 of 2024(3) dt.21-11-2024 2/2 looted articles to the petitioner. It is further submitted that there is no recovery of looted articles from the shop of the petitioner. Petitioner has no criminal antecedent.

Learned APP for the State opposed the prayer for anticipatory bail.

Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case as well as considering the nature of offence, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. The prayer for grant of anticipatory bail on his behalf is hereby rejected. 7.

Accordingly, this application is dismissed.
