A perusal of the writ application would show that in this

Patna High Court CR. WJC No.1649 of 2019(4) dt.29-07-2022 2/2 case the petitioner is praying for a writ in the nature of mandamus for commanding the respondent authorities to complete the investigation and submit chargesheet at the earliest in Gardanibagh P.S. Case No. 500 of 2018 dated 02.11.2018.

There is no information as to the present stage of the investigation.

Considering that the case has been registered in the year 2018, this Court deems it just and proper to dispose of the writ application with a direction to the competent authority Incharge of the investigation of this case that in case the investigation is still pending, it must be completed within a period of four months from the date of communication of this order and an appropriate police report in terms of Section 173 Cr.P.C. be filed in the learned court below.

In case the investigation is complete and the police report has already been submitted, the case shall proceed in accordance with law.
