2. The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Nalanda P.S. Case No. 191 of 2023 registered for the offence under Sections 341, 504, 506, 307/34 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 27 of the Arms Act.

3. As per the prosecution case, some unknown person came and shot at the deceased.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is innocent and is in custody since 25.01.2024.

5. Learned A.P.P. as well as the learned counsel for the informant have vehemently opposed the prayer for bail and have submitted that trial of the petitioner has started. Out of six

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.62054 of 2024(3) dt.15-01-2025 2/2 charge-sheeted witnesses, three witnesses have been examined.

6. In view of the law laid down by the Hon'ble Supreme Court in the case of X vs. State of Rajasthan, 2024 SCC OnLine SC 3539, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.

7. Accordingly, this application for regular bail is dismissed.
