The petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Konch P.S. Case No. 05 of 2016 registered under Section 135 of the Electricity Act pending in the Court of Special Judge (Electricity), Magadh Area, Gaya.
The allegation against the petitioner is that he consumed the electric power by using the Toka causing loss of Rs. 1,21,877/- to the Electricity Department.
The offence appears to be compoundable
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.9633 of 2016 (2) dt.12-04-2016 2/2 under section 152 of the Electricity Act. As such, I do not find any reason to consider the prayer of the petitioner for anticipatory bail.
Accordingly, this application is rejected.
