Counsel for the petitioner submits that the present writ petition has been filed for issuance of writ in the nature of mandamus directing the Respondent Authorities to grant benefits of A.C.P. /M.A.C.P. and with other consequential reliefs in the light of order passed by the Hon'ble Division Bench in case of Kamlanand Thakur Vs. State of Bihar & Ors. (C.W.J.C. No.18727 of 2017). Further prayer has been made for granting all consequential Monetary benefits to the petitioner.

3. Counsel further submits that a representation has been filed before the Principal Secretary, Water Resource Department, Bihar vide Annexure-P/5 dated 29.07.2024, but no decision has been taken.

4. Counsel for the State on the other hand submits that as per his knowledge, no order has been passed on his representation.

5. In the light of the submissions made by the parties, the present writ petition is hereby disposed off directing the petitioner to file a fresh representation before the Respondent No.5, (the Chief Engineer, Flood Control and Water Drainage, Water Resources Department, Government of Bihar) and Respondent No.5 shall consider the claim of the petitioner on merit and pass a reasoned and speaking order within 90 days from the date of production of this order.

6. With the aforesaid direction, the present writ application stands disposed off.
