The petitioner is in custody in connection with Majhaulia P.S. Case No. 379 of 2018 for the offences under Sections 366(A) of the Indian Penal Code and Section 8 of POCSO Act.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has no criminal antecedent and he is in custody since 13.06.2019. He further submits that victim has voluntarily joined wedlock with this petitioner. The victim in her statement recorded under section 164 Cr.P.C. has stated that she has joined wedlock with the petitioner.

Considering the fact that the statement of the victim under section 164 Cr.P.C., the Court is inclined to grant bail to

No.55161 of 2019(2) dt.05-09-2019 2/2 the petitioner, let the petitioner, named above, be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Court of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Bettiah, West Champaran in connection with Majhaulia P.S. Case No. 379 of 2018.
